Glass bottle painting

This project would make an ideal present.This useless olive oil
bottle would make a lovely gift for anyone to display in their
drawing room or bed room.Artistically minded people will have fun to
decorating and re cycling olive oil bottle to give a new and stylish
look.

Requirements:

1. olive oil bottle
2.red transperent glass paint
3.golden spray paint bottle
4.Paint brush no.2
5.black lead
6.red glitter(cut dana glitter)
7.golden ribbon or printed red and golden ribbon(optional)
8.Rubber band

METHOD:

Note:first,wash and dry the bottle with soapy water thoroughly inside and out.

Step 1: divide  the bottle into 2 parts with the help of rubber band tightly,so that both paints wouldnt emerge.

Step 2:Now the fun begins,Load the paint brush with red glass paint and allow it to flow onto the upper part of bottle very carefully.apply the paint quite thickly to produce a rich colorful effect.then gently sprinkle red glitter on red glass paint before drying the paint .let it dry.

step 3: Then spray golden paint on the lower part of the bottle to avoid red glass paint .now let it completely dry.

Step 4:when golden paint dry,then draw hands free outlining on golden part with black lead on all around the golden part.it will dry within 1 hr and set within 24 hrs.

step 5:Allow the bottle to dry for about 2_3 hrs before use,and polish
off any fingerprints.

Step 6:Now paste golden ribbon all around the lid of the bottle.
So finally, this elegant re cycled bottle is ready.

TIPS: Always use spray paints in an area where there is plenty of
air.Dont breathe in the spray fumes.
Keep the mess to the minimum,once you are ready to begin ,protect your
working area with layers of old news papers.
